Liverpool blow Arsenal away after £80m deal agreed – sources

Liverpool will earn more than Arsenal and Manchester City from their new kit manufacturer deal with Adidas, sources have told Football Insider.

The Reds are set to earn up to £80million per season from their five-year deal with the German sportswear company when it begins in the 2025-26 season.

The value of the deal is set to depend on the club’s participation in European competitions and whether or not they are taking part in the Club World Cup under its new format.

If all clauses are met and active, the Merseyside club are set to pocket as much as £80million per season which would rank them second in the Premier League behind only Manchester United.

The Red Devils signed a world record-breaking £900million deal with Adidas over a 10-year period in 2023.

Liverpool climb to second in Premier League with £80m deal

Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider that Liverpool have now tripled their money from kit manufacturers over the past five years.

However, the value of United’s kit deal is also dependent on their participation in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Arsenal earn a flat fee of £60million from their deal with Adidas which is set to run until 2030.

City earn a similar value of around £65million from their manufacturer deal with Puma which was signed back in 2019.

Liverpool’s former deal with Nike only guaranteed the club an upfront fee of £30million per year, meaning the Reds have officially leapfrogged their Premier League rivals with their latest off-pitch deal.
