On today’s Scout Report, we take a look at three managers contesting Euro 2020, and assess which clubs would suit them. Luis Enrique has superb credentials from his days as Barcelona manager, winning the treble in 2015 and bringing the legendary trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar to life. Managing Spain has been more of a mixed bag however, and there will be huge pressure on him if La Roja underperform this summer – could a return to the Camp Nou, or even a move to Arsenal if the Mikel Arteta project fails, be on the cards?
We also discuss Andriy Shevchenko who has enjoyed an excellent last three years as Ukraine boss. Since failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, he has rejuvenated the squad and got them playing some of their best ever football, utilising talents like Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ruslan Malinovskiy. And then there is Vladimir Petkovic, who has managed Switzerland since 2014, but had successful spells with Young Boys and Lazio before going into international management!
