On this week’s Transfer Talk we take you on a whistlestop tour through Europe and the Premier League, starting with the latest updates in France regarding the contract situation of PSG stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. A new deal is all but signed for the Brazilian, trying him down until 2024, but they’ve yet to come to an agreement with the Frenchman - and as time ticks on, it looks more and more likely that PSG could be forced to sell Mbappe. Real Madrid are interested, and might use Vinicius Jr in a deal to bring the World Cup winner to Spain. Back in England, and Mikel Arteta is preparing to completely overhaul his squad this summer, but if Arsenal fail to qualify for Europe and can’t raise as much as they expect from fringe players, they may consider selling a player like Bukayo Saka - not a move that would go down well with fans. Also, David Luiz is facing a contract dilemma at the Emirates - his employers want him to take a paycut. West Ham manager David Moyes has said he will listen to offers for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek, whilst they will do anything to try to make Jesse Lingard’s loan stay a permanent one, but with no buy clause could face competition from around the country. Finally, Sheffield United are still looking for a new permanent manager - could this be John Terry’s time to shine? Find out in today’s episode.
