TIMESTAMPS-
00 - Intro
55 - Proud moment for me and my family. It hasn't really sunk in but I've had a connection with this club for years.
28 - I left West Ham and trained here in 2021. Nathan Jones' intensity was probably the reason why I wanted to coach.
26 - As soon as the opportunity came up, myself and Gary were both excited.
11 - ready to be head coach: I don't want people to think about my playing career, the first week at Arsenal with the 18s it was something I needed to get better.
38 - Luton taking a risk?: Whenever Gary hires a manager there's an element of risk. My experiences as a player,
00 - Gary - we looked at several profiles. Jack impressed greatly.
55 - Gary - Spotlight back on?: We have our own spotlight here. We're always an interesting story.
33 - Clean stat after Norwich: I've learnt so much. If I didn't have that experience I wouldn't be here.
45 - Jack Wilshere team: I'm aware of how the group are feeling. We need to see a team that is fighting. Aggressive on the front foot.
36 - Style of play: You can't copy and paste. I was at the Arsenal academy, I have a way to play.
40 - Exciting to have love for game back: When I was at Luton I wanted to train but my body couldn't. Coaching I had a passion for it.
42 - Prepping for role: I had a lot of time in my career where I could sit down and think. I watched Mikel, reminded me of Eddie Howe with the energy and players buying into it.
53 - more pressure?: There's probably a few more eyes on me. I've played with Rooney, Lampard and they've been on their own journeys. Judge me as a coach.
28 - adjustment level: the difference is the quality. You have to fight, compete, win duels. My job is to improve the players. The difference is the speed in the game.
44 - Advice from previous manager: When I spoke to Mikel about a year ago. He said you have to jump in and swim as much as you can. Mikel's built a complete unit and trust in him. It's about getting people to believe.
45 - Mikel has always been great and will be.
16 - Chris Powell: He'll be a big help. When we talk about experience, there's no one better in the country than him.
38 - Finding opportunities hard to get?: I haven't thrown myself into it. I was seeking ways to spend time with different coaches.
56 - What have you done since Norwich?: When I left, I finished my pro licence. Went to Cyprus at the start of the season. I coached my son's under 14s team and under 6s.
40 - Energy: I think there's loads of things we can do. To give players belief they need clarity.
50 - Developing human skills: One thing ex players have naturally is empathy. We can feel what players are thinking.
57 - Arsenal U18s Wilshere: The love of the game is so important. Every staff at the club has that. I want to transmit that to t
