Renee Slegers previews Arsenal's WSL match away at Manchester United this weekend, and explains how she has no speech ready if the Gunners win team of the year.
-TIMESTAMPS-
00:00 - Intro.
00:10 - Kelly: she's trained
00:20 - Intensity: Two good games going into United and we're trying to prepare.
01:03 - United: they had to come back from 1-0 down in the Champions League.
01:41 - UCL: very excited. New format and we're going to prepare for it.
02:25 - New format exciting?: First time we're doing it in the women's game. There's a lot of competitive games.
03:04 - WSL, 9 goals already: I don't want us to stop. Every game has its own story.
04:02 - Hard to keep intensity up: There's a lot of psychologically in football.
04:21 - Ballon d'Or nomination: We're very proud.
04:58 - United evolution: They've looked good. Similar identity to last season but there's a lot of identity connected to their game out of possession.
05:43 - Points against the big clubs: We want to do things with consistency.
06:19 - Taking things from other sports: I haven't watched much women's sports, just football. It's on my to do list.
07:13 - Finishers: It's always about planning the game and visualising the game.
07:50 - 5 changes: huge I agree.
08:12 - Start quicker: every game is its own story. We take learnings from the first two games. We need to be detailed in our plan.
09:07 - Skinner comments: I wouldn't link it to 90 minute game, it's a squad game. It's all about cohesion.
09:58 - We have a very strong squad, we need it because it'll be a long season. Me having to make choices on selection is something I need to carry.
10:44 - Explaining decisions to players: At the moment not too dramatic.
11:30 - Learnings from first United game: it was so long ago, I've learnt so much. Both teams have changed.
12:49 - more pressure to win these games: every game is important this is no different.
13:35 - Katie Reid: As a club, they should be proud. All her academy coaches, making the step to senior football. It's a club thing. Katie is where she is because of the quality she has.
