Arsenal winger Noni Madueke sets his sights on Chelsea after celebrating his first goal for the Gunners in their 3-1 win over German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 INTRO
0:05 Emotions after that? It is an amazing feeling. I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play today and keeping me fit, and giving me a goal, and most importantly our team a win. I am made up.
0:25 How good to be back fit? Frustrating to be out after a good start?
It was horrible, the timing of the injury. It was horrible timing, but it is what it is. You face adversity as a footballer and it is about how you get back. Today was great for me, personally, and great for the team. I am really happy.
0:52 How you found it settling in? England boys helped?
Definitely, of course. Listen, we have an amazing group of players and staff as well, so settling in was a breeze, really.
1:05 Tough at start given the social media reaction?
To be honest, I just kind of take that stuff in my stride. It is normal, you are in the public eye, people can say whatever they want about you. But being in the stadium, and how the fans have taken to me in stadium, is unbelievable. I am not really worried about all of that. It is in the distant past.
1:30 Big difference between social media and reaction in stadium?
Yeah. Like the last game versus Tottenham, it was incredible and that gives me such a boost. I play on the side of the pitch, I can feel them (the fans), I can hear them. When they are that positive about me it gives me a massive boost. Honestly, I am made up about it.
1:49 Relish going to Chelsea on Sunday?
For me, it is another game, honestly. The fixture is not about me. The fixture is about Arsenal getting another three points in the league and being closer to our objective. That is honestly how I think about it.
2:20 How do you feel going back to your old club?
It might be a little bit hostile, it might not be, but I am a professional footballer. I have played in loads of atmospheres. I don't know if anything will faze me. I will just be focused on the task.
2:39 Chelsea is a huge game?
That is the most important thing. The fixture is not about me. It is about our team and trying to win the game. It's as simple as that.
2:50 Feel like can go for Champions League and Premier League?
Our goal going into every game is to win the game. I don't know if it is great to be thinking so far ahead in November. I just feel like we can control what we can control - that's every single day on the training ground, every single time we step up on the pitch - and try to give the best account of ourselves. I feel like that's what we are doing at the moment.
3:32 Prefer playing left or right wing? Pushing Bukayo on the right?
About other positions and people, that's up to the manager's choice. Obviously, I have shown that I can play well on the left. I am probably a natural right winger, but I can play well on the left as well, so I am not worried about all that.
