TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 is this the best way to start a season, against Manchester City?
Absolutely, always an exciting game.
0:45 - men's team also playing city. A big day for the club?
We take inspiration from the men's team but ultimately we have to focus on our own game.
01:45 - have you had to lift your players after Hacken loss? It was disappointing but we are good at moving forward. We know what we need to do.
02:45 - is progress enough this year?
Without progress it's not possible to deliver trophies. Our focus and mindset is on the daily tasks, we can't look to May now.
04:00 - similarities between men's and women's coming so close to delivering - is there pressure this season?
Pressure is a necessity
05:30- Leah Williamson - is she ok? Don't have all the information on the squad but Leah is ok
06:15 - Amanda Ilestedt and being a new mum. Eager to return? She's focusing on family but of course we will be ready to welcome her whenever she wants to return
07:25 - how do you stay focused on the City game with big second leg of Hacken coming up?
solely focused on Sunday and being competitive. ‘Have you seen Manchester City play?!'
08:00 - any concern around champions league wrapping around first wsl game?
No, if you want to play both, you have to be prepared
08:35 - looking forward to welcoming Viv back to emirates?
I wish her the best, she will be a strong opponent
09:40- can you use your knowledge of Viv to try and stop her?
She also knows a lot about us. Who will apply that knowledge best
10:45 - how will you neutralise city's attacking talent?
We also have attacking talent, it's 11 v 11
11:40- How important is it to get results against the big teams?
Every game is important.
If it was only about the top teams, we would have won the league last season because we took 9 points.
12:50 - feels like every match feels like a cup final for you at the moment?
That's my preference that every game matters
15:00 - Timeline on when Steph Catley and Lina Hurtig will be back? No official timeline but they're not available for Sunday.
15:30 - Transfer window. How has Mariona Caldentey fitted in to the team?
We need to keep learning. Work in motion.
17:05 - struggle with low blocks?
Progress is not linear
18:00 - how impressed were you with young players eg. Katie Reid in pre season. What can we expect from the young players?
Lots of good performances from young players, so impressed with Katie
