What is Arsenal in the community and what work does it do? This week's episode of The Dispatch sees us sitting down with Arsenal's Director of Community Freddie Hudson for an exclusive conversation about the work of his team and the values that drive it.
Over the course of an in-depth discussion, Freddie speaks to Frim and Josh about his 37 years at the club and how the work of Arsenal in the Community impacts supporters in north London and around the world. We also hear from Myles Lewis-Skelly, who looks back fondly on the time he spent doing work experience with the community team.
The conversation followed Saturday's Premier League fixture vs Wolves, that saw us celebrate 40 years of Arsenal in the Community with a number of different activities in the Hub and at Emirates Stadium.
Elsewhere in the episode, we preview Chloe Kelly's nomination for BBC Sports Personality of the Year ahead of Thursday night's ceremony and point to Michelle Agyemang and Mariona Caldentey's nomination for Young Sports Personality of the Year and World Sport Star respectively.
Friend of the show Per Mertesacker also features, speaking to Josh about the philosophy and principles that define his leadership of our academy.
